The Classroom – e-Learning in Education

Schools and educational establishments come to us in need of the very best e-learning tools for their students and staff. We extend the educational experience out of the classroom with bespoke Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) that complement classroom teaching and give students a new way to engage with their learning. We don’t just provide software, an instruction manual and our invoice. We provide a bespoke service that starts with a consultation and an assessment of your needs; development of a strategy, implementation, training and ongoing support. The Boardroom – e-Learning and Online Presences for Businesses and Charities

We use this same approach to support managers and trainers in business and charity sector. We reduce the cost of delivering training on a global scale whilst maintaining the quality and reliability that organsations depend on. We’ve worked with national charities and global corporations in delivering regulatory compliance and CPD training; youth justice training programmes; formal learning environments and informal learning events. In addition we’ve helped run campaigns with some of the most engaging media organisations on both sides of the Atlantic producing websites, marketing emails and online strategies to help businesses grow and reach out to the world.

Our Approach

Wherever possible we prefer to develop open and flexible solutions to problems, in the sense of advocating open source such as Moodle over proprietary software, but also by considering the needs of all end users; providing relevant training and support and thoroughly documenting and sharing the outcomes of our programmes and projects with interested third parties.

Our Company

A small business in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, NetCarrel was the brainchild of Haydn Jones who brings technical insight and creative thinking into our innovative technological solutions. NetCarrel is backed by the expertise and knowledge of our colleagues and consultants; from recent graduates at the cutting edge of design, to our directors of operations and strategy who bring with them over 40 years’ experience in the education sector.

‘NetCarrel’ is a portmanteau symbolising our fusion of tried and tested methods with innovative technological tools – enabling the relationships between teachers, students, businesses and customers. We bring the old fashioned insular ‘carrel’, or study booth, into the connected twenty first century.
